The White House announced President Barack Obama's historic decision to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on Wednesday. The official move will take place in May 2018 in a presidential ceremony, the administration said in a statement. As the US embassy moves, the Israeli consulate will also relocate to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
